Christmas may be more than four months away, but it’s never too early to get into the holiday spirit. On August 13, the Radio City Rockettes kicked off the 2013 Christmas season at their annual Christmas in August event. With the help of Santa Claus and WPLJ’s John Foxx, the high-kicking ladies unveiled a one-of-a-kind ice sculpture created by Okamoto Studios at Radio City and then handed out Christmas-inspired icy “Rox Pops” to fans throughout Manhattan. Check out the photo of the Rockettes (and a camel friend from the show’s famous live Nativity) in front of the ice sculpture and don’t miss this year’s Radio City Christmas Spectacular, featuring an all new “snow” scene extravaganza.
